Richard D. Zeisler is a partner with Zeisler & Zeisler, P.C. Richard Zeisler is a founding partner of the law firm of Zeisler & Zeisler, P.C. and has been in practice for over 45 years in the field of commercial law and bankruptcy. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including public and private companies, high net worth individuals, real estate investors and developers, hedge funds and trustees in bankruptcy. He has been involved in many major bankruptcies in Connecticut and New York, as well as a number of national cases, including the landmark Chapter 9 case of the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut. In addition to his involvement in commercial law and bankruptcy, he has developed a sub-specialty in the area of divorce for high net worth individuals, including the former presidents of two major U.S. automobile manufacturers.
Richard graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Connecticut School of Law. Richard holds or has held numerous positions with national and local bar associations, including the American Bar Association, Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and President of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
